It has been over 10 years since I started this project, and much has happened since then. I stepped away from blogging for many reasons, and just now realized that although I have posted updates regularly over on Facebook, I have been negligent on keeping things updated here.
If you have been here before, you will notice that I have removed any mention of block or other donations from the page. I was so overwhelmed by the generosity of quilters around the world, and I am STILL working through all the blocks I received, so I can't in good conscience accept any more. I need to be a good steward of all that I have received and pass these blocks as finished quilts into the hands of those needing comfort. I am determined to work through them all, but progressing slowly.
Just before COVID hit, on February 29, 2020, we had a sit and sew with some very helpful ladies, and we finished piecing together 4 tops, with 16 patches assembled to make at least 3 more. I then got sidetracked by mask assembly (over 800) and other projects, and am now looking back to my 4Patches bins to see what progress I can make next.
